Planning Board Meeting
August 12, 2025
Present: Jeff Osgood, Don Carrara, Rich Dufresne, Gerry DeBonis
Call to order by Jeff Osgood at 6:04 pm.
Motion to approve the minutes of the 7/8/2025 minutes (Dufresne/Carrara). All in favor, motion carried.
Ordinance work – setbacks for workforce housing were reviewed, no changes recommended at this time. There was discussion about the order of articles and whether the order should be shifted so that articles that are referenced the most are at the beginning. It was decided that the order of articles will not be changed.
There was discussion about the changes to RSA 674:71-73 regarding Auxiliary Dwelling Units (ADUs), and what changes will need to be made to Article XXV of the Sharon Zoning Ordinance to be in compliance with the changes to state laws. The total allowable square footage will need to be increased; detached ADUs will need to be allowed; owner occupied will need to be changed. Review of other areas of Article XXV will be reviewed.
