Please mark your calendars and join Sharon residents, leaders and special guests this coming Tuesday, September 1st at 5:30 pm when our one-room Brick Schoolhouse will be recognized on the National Registry of the Country Schools Association of America.
It’s another honor for our special building, which was placed on the state’s Register of Historic Places in 2001 and the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
There will be refreshments courtesy of the Sharing in Sharon committee and a brief ceremony held outside the Brick Schoolhouse (or inside, if it’s raining).
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Sharon Selectboard will be held in the schoolhouse immediately following and all are invited to attend that as well.
