Mitch Call – In memoriam

Mitch Call, a longtime resident of Sharon, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts, following a period of declining health due to kidney failure. He most recently resided at Hadley Point Nursing Home in Hadley, Massachusetts.
Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1934, Mitch lived a life marked by dedication to his community and a strong sense of civic responsibility. He made Sharon his home for many years and became a respected and influential figure in local government.
Mitch served on the Sharon Planning Board for more than 18 years, including time as Chairman. In that role, he helped shape the town’s development, contributing significantly to writing Sharon’s ordinances and regulations. His work helped guide the community’s growth while preserving its character, leaving a lasting impact that will continue to benefit residents for generations.
He is survived by his son, Greg Call of Amherst, Massachusetts.
Mitch will be remembered for his commitment to public service, his thoughtful leadership, and his lasting contributions to the town he called home.
