Planning Board Meeting
September 9, 2025
Present: Jeff Osgood, , Bill Joyner, Don Carrara, Gerry DeBonis
Call to order by Jeff Osgood at 6:04 pm.
Motion to approve the minutes of the 8/12/2025 minutes (DeBonis/Carrara). All in favor, motion carried.
Review of HB577 pertaining to ADUs which became effective 7/1/2025 and requires changes to the Sharon Zoning Ordinance. Discussion about the changes needed, such as, but not limited to allowing detached ADUs. Previous changes discussed, such as square footage and owner occupancy do not have to be changed after the final draft of HB577 was approved.
It was suggested that all proposed changes be sent to the Town Attorney for review before the public hearing is scheduled. Jeff Osgood will contact the Town Attorney. The public hearing will be tentatively scheduled for Nov.25, 2025.
